Catholic Charities Hawai'i Warns Public of Text Scams
HONOLULU, HAWAI‘I (October 25, 2022) – Catholic Charities Hawai‘i (CCH) is warning the public about a text message phishing scam related to financial assistance.
The text states that the recipient has “been selected to receive the Inflation Relief Check” and requests that they submit a form of ID to the phone number or email address provided.
If you receive a text message like this, simply delete it and do not respond to the phone number or e-mail provided.
