The County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation announced on April 7 that Waiehu Municipal Golf Course will adjust its golfing areas from April 13 to April 16 due to scheduled aeration work on the greens. The department said this maintenance is weather permitting.

Golfers are advised that on April 13 and 14, while the back nine holes undergo aeration, players will be directed to play the front nine holes twice. On April 15 and 16, when the front nine is being worked on, golfers will instead play the back nine twice.

According to the announcement, all aeration work is expected to be completed by the end of day on April 17. No impacts to scheduled play are anticipated for that day.

For more information about these adjustments or course conditions during this period, golfers can contact the Waiehu Golf Course starter’s booth at (808) 270-7400. Additional details about County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation services can be found at www.mauicounty.gov/parks.

This maintenance schedule aims to keep playing conditions optimal for all users while minimizing disruption.
