Of the 2,285 people living in Paia in 2020, 44.4 percent (1,014) were women and 55.6 percent (1,271) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Maui Reporter.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 135. In the 65 and over age range, there were 111 females and 186 males.
