Of the 3,875 people living in Waikapu in 2019, 51.7 percent (2,002) were women and 48.3 percent (1,873) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Maui Reporter.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 1,188-to-1,046. In the 65 and over age range, there were 141 females and 151 males.
