There were three credit intermediation and related activities in Hawaii that had 500 or more employees in 2016, according to County Business Patterns (CBP) statistics provided by the United States Census Bureau.

CBP data indicates that there are more establishments categorized as accommodation and food services businesses with 500 or more employees in Hawaii than in any other category.
