The University of Hawai’i football team will conclude its regular season with a game against Wyoming on Saturday, November 29 at the Clarence T.C. Ching Complex in Honolulu. The kickoff is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. local time. The Rainbow Warriors, holding a record of 7-4 overall and 4-3 in Mountain West play, aim to reclaim the Paniolo Trophy from the Cowboys, who have won the last two meetings between the teams.

The match has been declared sold out, but tickets remain available through SeatGeek, the university’s official resale partner.

Heineken is sponsoring Saturday’s game as part of Senior Night celebrations. The company will distribute 400 University of Hawai’i-themed koozies to fans entering through Gate 2. Tailgating begins at 2:00 p.m., and fans are invited to participate in the Warrior Walk around 3:15 p.m., when players arrive on campus and proceed through tailgating areas. A pregame concert featuring Hawaii’s Finest and BET is set for 4:30 p.m.

Karen Keawehawaii will lead attendees in singing both the national anthem and “Hawai’i Pono’i” before kickoff. During halftime, one fan will attempt a field goal as part of Allstate’s annual contest for a chance to win $1,000 and two tickets to a future men’s basketball game; Allstate will also donate $1,000 to the university’s general scholarship fund.

After the game, head coach Timmy Chang and his staff will join fans for a ceremony honoring 25 seniors for their contributions to the program.

Wyoming leads the all-time series against Hawai’i by a margin of 17-11, including an 8-7 advantage in games played in Honolulu. The most recent meeting resulted in a Wyoming victory (42-9) on November 18, 2023.

This season marks Hawai’i’s participation in four rivalry trophy games—defeating Air Force for the Kuter Trophy but losing to San Jose State and UNLV for other trophies earlier this year. This week’s matchup is their third rivalry trophy contest within four games.

Hawai’i has won its last seven Senior Night games and twelve of its last thirteen since 2012; five of those wins were decided by one score or less.

Last week, Hawai’i suffered a loss to UNLV (38-10), recording its second-lowest offensive output this season with only 231 total yards gained.

Placekicker Kansei Matsuzawa remains perfect this season with field goals (23-for-23). He needs two more successful attempts without a miss to tie an FBS record set by Chuck Nelson (Washington) in 1982 with twenty-five consecutive field goals made at season start. Matsuzawa’s streak also approaches the Mountain West record held by Gabriel Plasencia (San Diego State).

Wyoming enters Saturday’s contest following three straight losses—the latest being against Nevada (13-7)—and has scored just seventeen points over that stretch while averaging under two hundred yards per game offensively.

Following Saturday’s game, these seniors will be recognized during Senior Night: De’Jon Benton, Nick Cenacle, David Cordero, Virdel Edwards II, Caleb Freeman, Giovanni Iovino, Jackie Johnson III, Tariq Jones, Devyn King, Tim Malo, Peter Manuma, Kansei Matsuzawa, Kilinahe Mendiola-Jensen, Kuao Peihopa, Karsyn Pupunu, Kellen Robins-Beers, Jamar Sekona, Landon Sims, Justin Sinclair,Jalen Smith,Zhen Sotelo,Carsen Stocklinski ,Christian Vaughn,Qwyn Williams, and Jaheim Wilson-Jones.
