Pukalani Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Pukalani Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Hawaii lost 371 soldiers in the Korean war and 214 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at PUKALANI TERRACE CTR, Makawao will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Wilbert Wah Hu Tom Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Pukalani Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Pukalani Ace Hardware is located at PUKALANI TERRACE CTR, Makawao, Hawaii. This location is owned by Guy K Kamitaki, represented by Rick McKee and managed by Manasseh Robidoux.
