On Friday, Jan. 31, former Henry Perrine Baldwin High School standout Lauren Otsubo’s current college team, the Hawaii–Hilo Vulcans, lost 11-8 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cal State San Marcos Cougars.
The game took place at OC Great Park. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Vulcans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. at OC Great Park against Sonoma State Seawolves.
