On Friday, Feb. 14, former Henry Perrine Baldwin High School standouts Lakaiya-Braessia Kahahawai-Kekona and Maka Sonognini’s current college team, the Utah Tech Trailblazers, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Western Illinois Leathernecks.
The game took place at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Leathernecks this season.
The Trailblazers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 4 p.m. at Eller Media Stadium against UNLV Rebels.
