On Saturday, Nov. 22, former Lahainaluna High School standout Jaysen Akahi-Vida’s current collegiate team the Whitworth Pirates lost 16-18 against the Chapman Panthers in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The game took place at Whitworth Pine Bowl at 12 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Chapman Panthers in the tournament.
