On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Kamehameha High School standout Kawehi Ili’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals, won 9-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Spring Hill Badgers.
The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Badgers this season.
The Lady Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. at Maner Park against Adams State Grizzlies.
