On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Kamehameha High School standout Kawehi Ili’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals, won 14-10 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Valdosta State Blazers.
The game took place at Gulf Shores Sportsplex. This was their first matchup against the Blazers this season.
The Lady Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 11:45 a.m. at Gulf Shores Sportsplex against Spring Hill Badgers.
