On Saturday, Feb. 8, former Kamehameha High School standout Kawehi Ili’s current college team, the Lubbock Christian Lady Chaparrals, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Sul Ross Lobos.
The game took place at Maner Park. This was their first matchup against the Lobos this season.
The Lady Chaparrals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. at Maner Park against Cameron Aggies.
