On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Kamehameha High School standout Ka’imi Kahalekai’s current college team, the Long Beach State Beach, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Pepperdine Waves.
The game took place at Triton Ballpark. This was their first matchup against the Waves this season.
The Beach’s next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Tony Gwynn Stadium against Seattle Redhawks.
