The University of Hawaiʻi Rainbow Wahine beach volleyball team will play its last regular-season home matches of the year, starting Friday, April 10. The No. 16 ranked BeachBows are set to face Oregon at Queen’s Beach before hosting Senior Weekend at Clarence T.C. Ching Complex on April 11 and 12, where they will compete against Chaminade, Santa Clara, and Oregon. All matches are open to fans with free admission.

These games mark an important moment for the team as it returns home after more than a month away and prepares to honor ten seniors making their final regular-season appearances. The closing match on Sunday against Oregon will be broadcast live on Spectrum Sports, followed by Senior Night festivities recognizing Sydney Amiatu, Sarah Burton, Emily Heintzelman, Julia Lawrenz, Caprice Lorenzo, Jesse Mann, Tessa Marocco, Sydney Miller, Kristen Serrano and Emily Uhrinak.

The BeachBows come into the weekend with a record of 13-12 after playing their last fourteen dual matches on the mainland and finishing with a win over Arizona in Tucson. Over the course of this season UH has used twenty-four different pairings among players; Julia Lawrenz and Izadora Stedile have played together in all twenty-five matches so far this year. Freshman Kiera Cornman and graduate transfer Emily Heintzelman currently hold the best win percentage among pairs.

Historically strong at home venues such as Clarence T.C. Ching Complex—where they have held a .720 winning percentage since 2015—the Rainbow Wahine have also excelled against unranked teams both overall (171-7) and specifically in Honolulu (75-2). This weekend’s schedule includes multiple matchups each day from Friday through Sunday.

Following these final home games and Senior Night recognition ceremonies on April 12th, Hawaiʻi will travel again for postseason play at the Big West Championship scheduled for April 23-24.
