The University of Hawai’i women’s track and field team began its 2026 indoor season with several record-breaking performances at the UW Preview in Seattle. The team set two new program records, earned top marks in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), and added 18 entries to the school’s all-time top 10 lists.
Isabella Kneeshaw broke her own school record in the indoor 400 meters, finishing with a time of 55.60 seconds. Catherine Touchette set a new standard in the 600-meter run, clocking in at 1:29.86 and surpassing the previous school record by more than two seconds.
Robyn Larkan, competing for Hawai’i for the first time, won the meet title in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.59 seconds—the third-fastest mark in program history—and also moved into third place on UH’s all-time list for the 60-meter dash at 7.61 seconds.
Other notable performances included Amelie Fairclough (57.26) and Marissa Crane (57.42) moving into seventh and eighth place respectively on UH’s indoor top-10 list for the 400 meters. Lisa Martensson posted a time of 1:31.16 to claim second on UH’s list for the indoor 600 meters, while Ruby Brook secured fourth place at that distance (1:33.24) as well as third place for UH in the indoor 1000 meters (2:53.76).
In field events, Ava Enriquez cleared a height of 3.88 meters to take third on Hawai’i’s pole vault records and earn an MPSF-leading mark alongside Tara Wyllie’s triple jump performance of 12.40 meters.
Lilian Turban achieved marks placing her among both program leaders—eighth-best shot put throw at UH with a distance of 14.31 meters—and tied for third-highest high jump clearance within MPSF competition this weekend.
These results signal a strong start to Hawai’i Rainbow Wahine’s track and field campaign as they look ahead to further competitions this season.
