The University of Hawai’i men’s volleyball team secured a decisive win over Stanford, sweeping the Cardinal in straight sets for the second consecutive day. The match, held at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, ended with scores of 25-17, 25-16, and 25-13, lasting just 77 minutes.
With this victory, the Rainbow Warriors improved their season record to 12-1 and extended their current winning streak to nine matches. The team also avenged last year’s loss to Stanford in Honolulu and has now won 14 out of the last 15 meetings against the Cardinal since 2017.

Over the two-match series against Stanford, Wade accumulated a total of 27 kills with three errors on 36 attempts for a .667 hitting percentage.
Louis Sakanoko added support with 12 kills, two digs, and four blocks. Adrien Roure contributed seven kills and eight digs. Setter Tread Rosenthal directed an efficient offense that hit .442 for the match and .474 across both matches; he finished with 37 assists, one ace, and four digs. Quintin Greenidge led all players with 12 digs. Middle blockers Justin Todd (six kills, four blocks) and Trevell Jordan (five kills, three blocks) combined for a total of eleven kills and seven blocks.
For Stanford (3-8), Theo Snoey recorded eight kills on .294 hitting along with four digs. As a team, Stanford managed a .164 hitting percentage.
Hawai’i’s win marks its sixth consecutive victory over Stanford in California and its third two-match sweep at Maples Pavilion since 2020. The Rainbow Warriors will take a week off before returning home to Honolulu for a seven-match homestand beginning February 25 against No. 7 BYU.
