The University of Hawai’i men’s volleyball team will introduce its new “Floral” jerseys during a match against BYU on Friday, February 27. These game-used jerseys will be available for fans to purchase through an online auction aimed at supporting the men’s volleyball program and its student-athletes.
The virtual auction is scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 26 at 8:00 a.m. and will close on Sunday, March 1 at 6:00 p.m. Interested participants can access the auction at hawaiiathletics.com/MVBAuction. Registration for the event is free, and all proceeds from jersey sales will go directly to benefit the men’s volleyball program.
According to the announcement, “Fans can participate in this unique opportunity to own game-used jerseys while contributing toward a worthy cause. Registration for the auction is free and proceeds will directly benefit the men’s volleyball program.”
The “Floral” jersey design incorporates the school’s traditional green color as its base, highlighted by hibiscus and plumeria flower patterns. This edition is one of three specialty jerseys that the team plans to wear during the 2026 season, all of which are set to be auctioned off.
Past auctions of similar jerseys have generated significant funds for athletic programs.
