The University of Hawai‘i men’s tennis team has scheduled an exhibition match against Hawai‘i Pacific this weekend. The event is set for Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. local time and will take place at the UH Tennis Complex in Honolulu.
This match comes after the Rainbow Warriors secured a narrow 4-3 victory over Portland last Saturday to close out their season-opening homestand. During that match, Hawai‘i earned the doubles point with wins from Toa Maeda and Azuma Visaya in the No. 2 position, as well as Kent Mueller and Adriano Dzhenev at No. 3 doubles. In singles play, both Dzhenev and Visaya won in straight sets to give UH an early lead. Mueller then clinched the overall win by defeating Portland’s Tanner Binder in three sets: 2-6, 6-2, 7-5.
The upcoming exhibition against HPU serves as a final preparation before Hawai‘i begins its first road trip of the spring season. The team will start conference play with their Big West opener at UC Riverside on February 11th before heading to Arizona for matches against Northern Arizona and Grand Canyon.
