Department of Parks and Recreation issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
The Department of Parks and Recreation reports that the Lahaina Aquatic Center has been cleaned of ash and windblown debris and will reopen at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, for those with reservations for daily lap swimming. The aquatic center was closed Sunday and Monday for cleaning.
The department apologizes for any inconvenience. For pool information, call 270-6135. For general parks information, visit www.mauicounty.gov/parks
