Of the 20 gas stations in cities within Maui County, just one offers premium gas.
The average price of premium gas in Hawaii was $5.09, compared to $5.10 the week before.
Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51. An outlook published in late 2023 suggests that gas rates will continue to fall in 2024.
